Tell Tom Homan: Remove ICE from America's airports

ICE agents have been deployed to 14 airports nationwide, initially framed as "crowd control" while TSA agents continue working without pay.
Make no mistake: this is a manufactured crisis. Project 2025 explicitly calls for privatizing TSA and dismantling its union. The Trump regime is laying the groundwork to normalize the presence of ICE agents in our public spaces.
Steve Bannon has called this a "test run" for polling places. U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche questioned -- so what if ICE is at the polls this November? Tom Homan, Trump's border czar, personally defended the airport deployments and mocked Democrats who pushed back: "What are they afraid of?" He is also on record defending the killings of Renee Good by federal agents.
Chaos in public spaces is how authoritarian regimes normalize occupation. Just like the National Guard was mobilized into cities and never left, ICE at airports today means ICE at polling places this November.
As Christians walking the way of Jesus, we believe in the dignity of every traveler, every neighbor, every mother and child. We cannot let our airports become checkpoints of fear.
It's up to all of us to stand together to fight Christian Nationalism and say loudly -- not in our name.
Tell Tom Homan: Remove ICE from America's airports.
Petition Text:
To: Tom Homan, White House Border Czar
Remove ICE from America's airports.
The month-long TSA crisis that gave you this opening was no coincidence -- Project 2025 calls for privatizing and de-unionizing TSA. You used the manufactured chaos to insert ICE into our public spaces -- and Steve Bannon has already said airports are just the "test run" for polling places in November.
You went on national television to defend these deployments. ICE agents at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson were observed performing TSA functions -- vetting IDs and boarding passes. You have personally defended the killings of Renee Good by federal agents and never apologized.
As Christians walking the way of Jesus, we believe in the dignity of every traveler, every neighbor, every mother and child. We refuse to let our airports become checkpoints of fear.
Stop using a manufactured crisis to normalize armed immigration enforcement in our public spaces. Remove ICE from America's airports now.
Thank you.
